Da Vinci Code: decry, pundit, deleterious

Religious leaders have decried the claims put forth in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and some have called for a boycott of the upcoming film, but movie pundits believe that the controversy will not have deleterious effects on ticket sales.

decry – (verb) to express strong disapproval of

pundit – (noun) authority on a subject

deleterious – (adjective) harmful
